Framed card
I was so inspired by my beautiful packaging in my earlier post. I've seen the idea in Pinterest and decided this will be my theme for month of January.

Another packaging to personalise that present
The previous blog showed you how packaging your present in a box with window and flowers can make that gift look so impressive. If you like the present to be totally a surprise then here is another of presenting your gift.
Make a bag to fit the present, this one is a hand lotion so the top part is wider that the tube cap. Keep the base of the bag to fit the tube cap diameter (square base bag) but when you seal the bag instead of making it look like a actual bag shape fold in a triangular piece on both sides to give the flat top and to fit the wide end of the lotion tube. This can sometimes be frustrating to pack but using a bag idea to package products that come in tubes is not going to be challenge anymore.
Once you have done it, you'll love this idea of packaging.
Packaging for a present
It's the time of the year that we all like to give people we love something special. It might not be the most expensive thing to give but the satisfaction you get in the process of choosing what to give and how to present it the most exquisite way is just heart warming experience.
I always like to think that the people I touch this time of the year will appreciate all the thoughts put into what they receive.
Take into account that most people you give something at Christmas are likely to already have everything they want, the thought of giving will always give someone a smile. It is not how much you bought the present for but it is how you can bring someone a smile and how they appreciate your thoughtfulness .
So how can you make something little look so impressive. The way you package something is the secret.

Card in a box from my home to yours
I was in the middle of making treat boxes for colleagues when I thought of making a special card to a very special supportive colleague . I had to keep in mind that NZ is full of pines and so i have to use festival of trees stamp. It has to feel the special Christmas theme so have to put tree trimmings to it.

I've been busy lately with end of year tidy up at work. So I haven't been able to design or make a card to date. But since it's the last day at work tomorrow I just have to make these thank you treats for my colleagues.

Notepad in blue
It has been fun making various easel card of different sizes. The idea of making an easel card as a notepad folder has been inspired by the concept of having a table placement card using easel design and as a party token as one, pretty much was the guide brief
So here we go.
