Invitation bookmarker card

My workshop for tomorrow is making a set of invitation card and thank you card. But tonight I decided to make a sample invitation bookmarker card to promote the sheltering tree stamp set.

I was going to make it more of a spring colour but thought just the lushness of the foliage will make the card stunning.

The idea of having a bookmarker is to get the guest reminded of the invite. This card turned out cool.

Sending sympathy

Life is unpredictable, just like a wheel , it goes round in circles, we can be high or we can be down. A friend of Norman past away last Saturday night and may he rest in peace. To comfort the grieving family, this is my own small way of showing we both care.

The third card set

Well, it only needed an hour to finish off this set. Designing the note card was a challenge because the DSP had a busy print. Anyway, I decided to use the butterfly punch to finish off the design. 

So here it is,

Card set in bag packaging for Mother's Day

I have come across a set of cards beautifully packaged in a handbag design through Pinterest and was so taken by the idea. Surfing through the different boards I found tutorials on how to make a handbag packaging. I made my sets and was so pleased with the outcome. 

I am in the process of finishing my third set. So will keep you posted when it's complete.

Planter Card

What makes you creative on a rainy dreary day like today? 

I sat staring on my vellum paper, stamp pads, floral stamps and some finished cards hoping to get something to start me off.  Pulled out some card stock for a card I haven't quite work out what it could be.  Then decided to take a brown card stock and stamped it with the wood grain. And so I decided to create a card in a box. This time it's going to be card in a box but with no fold down bits as it's going to be a planter. 

And the creativity kicked in, leaves, embossed flower in white, and embossed butterfly in black pearl.

So here it is, 

How cool this is. I can explore more on this creation next time and it will be crunched punch vellum flower. So watch the space.
